COVID-19 Concerns. Do you have a question regarding your business?

On March 11, 2020 the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of COVID-19 originating in China, as a global pandemic. Reasons cited included the rapid spread across 114 countries at that time, and an alarming rate of confirmed cases and deaths.

The food and beverage manufacturing industry in Canada, like many other sectors faced immediate and critical changes to daily operations. Despite the evolving challenges, maintaining food supply and security for Canadians continues to be a top priority for governments.

FBC-ABC has worked together with provincial food associations and related national organizations in addressing, with government counterparts, a number of significant concerns for the industry.
