New Agri-Food Immigration Pilot Attracts Talent to Industry

The Government of Canada’s commitment to launch a three year economic immigration pilot will assist in addressing current and forecasted labour shortages for food and beverage manufacturers. The pilot will focus on the meat processing sector by attracting and retaining workers through a pathway to permanent residents. A maximum of 2,750 principal applicants plus family members will be accepted per year.
