FBC-ABC supports efforts to significantly improve Canada’s regulatory landscape including implementing all regulatory modernization measures announced in the 2018 Fall Economic Statement and ensuring all federal departments – including regulatory agencies – embrace competitiveness and innovation in their mandates.

FBC also supports the federal government in delivering an ambitious Regulatory Modernization Bill in 2019 and accelerating actions of the Canada-U.S. Regulatory Cooperation Council of benefit to the food and beverage industry.
